Ibogaine flood dose
Our Ibogaine flood dose is a medically supervised treatment that is very effective at alleviating opiate withdrawals and resetting the brain to a pre addicted state .
The effectiveness of Ibogaine floods has been proven countless times in case studies dealing in addiction and trauma. People suffering from the seemingly endless cycle of drug abuse or other mental imbalances can find lasting relief in the physical and spiritual awakening that follows an Ibogaine flood. There are several factors that contribute to the Ibogaine experience, including dose, setting, method of consumption, and mindset. Each individual journey will be unique to the person. Our facility is designed to provide the perfect environment for gentle detoxing and rejuvenation while undergoing Ibogaine treatment. The client is met for an initial assessment by a group of medical professionals, including an ibogaine doctor, to evaluate the client’s specific needs. There is a brief period of rest and relaxation during which the client can settle into their private bungalow, tour the facility and get acquainted with our program. Stabilizing medications are provided during the primary detox phase along with IV therapy and a holistic diet. Once the client has been medically cleared, the Ibogaine test dose will be administered to determine that no allergy to the medicine is present.
The client will then receive the first flood dose under medical supervision. Medical staff will continue to monitor the persons vitals and blood pressure throughout the duration of the flood. The person will experience a profound feelings of introspection and personal awakening.
The journey of ibogaine occurs in two parts, termed the visionary phase and the introspection phase. The visionary phase has been described asan enhanced “oneirogen” state, referring to the dreamlike nature of its psychedelic effects, and lasts upwards of 4 hours. The second phase, the introspection phase, is responsible for the “psychotherapeutic” effects. It can allow the person to transcend their fears and negative emotions. Ibogaine creates a state of consciousness similar to dreaming while fully conscious. The person is aware enough that memories, life experiences, and trauma can be processed. In most cases, the brain begins to “rewire” pathways, returning thought patterns back to the pre-addictive or pre-trauma state. The Ibogaine also allows the body to begin repairing physical damage from substance abuse.
Ibogaine is fast becoming a viable alternative to mainstream medication. Ibogaine is of particular interest to contemporary pharmacology because it possesses “anti addictive” properties, meaning it reduces or eliminates both dependence and withdrawal symptoms. The most common treatments for substance abuse and trauma at this point have been behavioral therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral and contingency management interventions. With the advent of Ibogaine research and treatment implementation, these prior methods have become outdated. Holistic healing through psychotropic plant compounds is now considered in many parts of the world to be cutting edge medicine. Once the client has been medically cleared to return to his or her bungalow, another period of rest and personal time will allow for integration of the Ibogaine experience. We encourage everyone to abstain from stressful activities or electronic devices for at least 24 hours after the Ibogaine protocol. This period of integration allows the mind to restabilize in a state of tranquility, which then prompts the brain to begin the “rewiring” process of old thought patterns that no longer serve a productive purpose.
Microdosing and booster dosing are sometimes used after an ibogaine treatment has concluded and a client’s EKG and QTc have returned to their baseline. These doses are often used for deeper introspection or for prolonged post-acute withdrawal syndromes. Microdoses are often administered as the raw capsules of Iboga, the mother plant from which Ibogaine is extracted. It’s also important to note the difference between Iboga and Ibogaine, the Iboga itself being a milder experience. However, Ibogaine and Iboga do induce common experiences and effects that are of immense help along the journey of healing and growth. The client will be gradually reintroduced to the daily activities and wellness programs offered until the treatment protocol is complete. All clients will meet with a staff counselor to discuss clients feedback, questions and future concerns. Our facility also offers personalized aftercare programs and resources to help with the transition back to normal life. Many people have achieved meaningful change in their lives through the Iboga experience and continue to practice a healthy, wellness-driven lifestyle.
